saw this on tumblr, wondering what you guys here thought of it?

^top and bottom look incongruous to me, pants are much more relaxed than the jacket

it looks the same to me but I don't necessarily dislike it for that reason. In fact, I do like it just for what it is in the pic but I think I'd have to see this "in action" to be able to tell if the looser pants "work" in this fit.

@ a fixedpoint - yes, that is the point. like benes fit. i think the tumblr dude is pulling it off quite well. was wondering what peeps in here would think. you, clearly, do not feel it.

no actually I do... maybe I didn't quite say it correctly. In fact I posted a fit a ways back in which I wore a more snugly fit V-neck sweater and shirt over looser, wool trousers... think Oxford Bags kinda style. A few posters as well commented on the look reminding them of Fred Astaire which of course I took as a complement. I do dig it... would just really like to see it.

Btw... If I had time I'd try to dig up my pic but I actually have no idea how to do that. Is there a way to search one's own posts for specific items? Or only those posts in which you have posted pics and/or fits? I've been meaning to ask and this would help.

But Stitchy if you find my pic (probably from Nov. '11-March '12) let me know or re-post it!

the shoes are hard to see clearly, but admittedly they do look a little weird. Do they have some kind of different captoe on them or something?

Thx Benesyed! Ya that me! It's a love/hate thing. I've been blasted for it and complemented as well so to each his own. Although I frequently change hair styles and not just by the cut but also with styling from day to day. Anyway...

Some may have noticed I've been a bit AWOL as of late (work/school) but I have gotten more settled recently and have taken pix of some more fits. Hope to share with y'all soon... take care fellas.
