I don't think there is anything necessarily wrong with certain pieces from that tradition. I'm just lamenting when it borders on a costume. Seriously, some of the stuff is just way over the top corny. I like it when it's a bit more toned down, original, interpreted, or subtle. Over the top, hit you on the head stuff just lacks nuance. Textured materials is hardly something exclusive to heritage.

i meant the trend is based of trad textured materials:

different types of knits, marled cotton, wool blends, etc etc. not that they're exclusive. granted i agree its overplayed nowadays...

yeah, i stand by it. he defended them and said that they were thom browne when people ragged on him. he also said his boss approved of the fit.

i believe the kilim rug is what makes this fit crush all. you have to roll it up and carry with in order to add maximum steez

Also dead giveaway - Foo is way too tall in that pic. I think the guy is like 5'1" or something in real life. He's like 5'9" in that shopped photo.
