I'm sure you're trying to be funny, but jesting about religion even in this tame of a context isn't cool. Also; I am not Mormon, I am a Christian of this denomination 5300

I've been skeptical of JD's new sartorial direction based on the photos he's posted in the Recent Purchases thread. I'll eat crow if his fits start turning out like this. Basic in theory, but distinctive enough where even the guy who doesn't care about fashion would probably take notice. Though a lot of those guys would probably then ask why you're wearing your girlfriend's jacket. But I'm digging. I'm digging.

People refusing to have any sense of humor with regards to their spiritual beliefs is part of what makes them batshit crazy. Loosen up.

if you are a tattooed, 115-pound, narcissistic coke fiend with a Hitler haircut you can wear whatever the **** you want and still look like a badass

would need meaner boots though to top it off to give a real **** you vibe

but that coat is super nice I am being weirded out by the shirt a bit, but love love love the coat.

Coat looks like something you would buy at value village as part of a pirate halloween costume.

I think that whole outfit works pretty well together. I actually like the untucked with the top button done up. Those in combination with the long coat sleeves make it look like a fencing outfit, which is actually pretty cool.
I can see the whole nice guy vs haute couture thing because of your body and face, but if you scowl a lot Im sure you can pull it off.

I don't think this looks good at all for a number of reasons. There needs to be a certain aura about a person to pull it off, an attitude/vibe. Your fair skin looks harsh against the black & white color palette, the haircut averagely styled need as much attention as the clothes to gel. The coat looks more like a Magicians attire (personal opinion) the break on the pants should be removed to elongate the silhouette. Instead of rambling I'll just say that you looked much better before, comfortable and believable, SoCal and Fuuma could pull this off much better, it's all a bit dress up beyond your comfort factor from my perspective.

The JD fit is quite polarising.

Agree that he needs a haircut. buzzcut maybe. aeglus cut maybe, or something not quite as sharp.

Not really a fan of the jacket cos i'd like to see a popped collar.

Pants look awesome with the stacking.

Should undo top and a couple more buttons.

I do like the fit quite a lot.

Agreed on the haircut but pants without a break would look bad

High tops are not the answer to all of life's questions.
