Your arguments are drowned out by the awesomeness of those jeans, plus he goes to runway shows so for all intents and purposes, he is a rockstar

I don't think it entirely wrong or a complete character flaw to be a bit of an elitist in some aspects as long as you can still maintain a level of humility. That said, i think you're projecting a bit much based on perhaps real life people you dislike. As far as the look, isn't what most people desire out of clothing to look effortlessly cool even if that means trying to look effortlessly cool (paradox?)? Though the more you try and hone that, the more actually effortless it becomes, which it seems to be for fuuma at this point. As for forum pics and stuff. Don't even rockstars have blogs/twitters to display their life? Not to mention that styleforum is more than just a clothing database but forums generally become a community of sorts that people have some kind of tie to. I mean, for example, i've only met shoreman once, but he's a nice guy, i enjoy back and forths with him on the forums and like to see that he's doing well via pics on occasion. I generally am not looking for style advice for the past 2years but do enjoy posting on occasion because of the community aspect more than anything

It's ok guys.

There's too much irony in this statement for him not to be kidding.

Twice? Hasn't he been banned like five or six times? Shyboy, Pee, Otter, Singsan or some such and a few others as well.

My take on the tie button up thing. To me it says "I'm wearing a tie because I need to and I'm trying to make it work with my outfit", I've always seen it with people who finish work and go out and at work parties. I also think most of the hate for the tie comes from the fact that if it doesn't come off looking 'dressy' then it comes off looking 'trendy', which personally I don't think has to be a bad thing, if it works the outfit. Can't deny that we're all subject to trends in one way or another anyway.
