Really excellent effort; my favourite so far. The inspiration comes through so strongly in the actual lool; the colours, textures and feel... great interpretation.

A solid cream linen jacket seems like it should be easy to work with. But most of the time people want to throw every Crayon in the box at it and it begins to look way too busy and costumey. This has a relaxed, quiet sophistication.

Same to you. I was just mulling over your sale thread; an inadvisable move for one with too many pocket squares, really

Have I missed anything? Aside from the Nature theme that I suppose my flower might make me eligible for

That sportcoat and bow are terrific, you've got a great eye.

+1 Wish I coulda participated today, but I didn't have a my camera with me. Lots of good looks for the challenge; I'll have to wade thru all of them when Spoo aggregates them.

I really like the lapels. They remind me of some of the elegant 40's DB suits and jackets.

Magnificent fit, PG! The cut of that suit is fantastic, the tie knot is superb, and the color combo inspired.

Now how did you get everybody to step out of frame while you took the shot?

Manton, that is a beautifull suit, I those lapels! EdMorel....Damn, that is one fine looking sportscoat, what fabric is that? Spoo, great job today, you really captured the essence of your inspiration shot. ThreadBearer, lovely subtle details to capture your inner pea-cock. Holdfast, loved your source photo and think you've managed to capture some of the lovely colours and textures in your fit, especially liked the shoes and their patina! also @ Spoo, yesterdays 'woe' suit looks like its great, the only real issue I have with it are the patch pockets, they look off to me, too low I think? Everyone else entering the Challenge today...well done, some real inspiration from you guys! -TTO Also...Congrats big A, how could I forget that!

Love the lapels and the overall tall and skinny look. I always enjoy the way your clothes work with your body instead of trying to present some replacement image.

You misspelled that on purpose, you competitive bastard! You're trying to bias the judging.

Great to see some great people posting out of nowhere. Me tonight. A little rumpled after dinner and a long friday.
