With a grey jacket and everything else the same, this would be great.

I see what you mean, but I prefer brown (in this case beige) and blue to grey and blue. The beige makes it warmer and more interesting.

Edit: here's another example with brown(s):

Everyone here looks so great!

Here's my first post to WAYWRN:

I'm a grad student, with limited means, so I generally pick up all my 'nice' clothes thrifting.

I was going for a conservative trad look, hence the pic is titled "Boo Tradley."

Vintage Southwick for Andover Shop Herringbone Tweed Sport Coat. Just picked this up yesterday, and it fits great w/o any alterations, sleeves could stand to be a 1/2" longer I think.

Shirt is BB non-iron, picked up a few years ago at Salvation Army for a couple of bucks. It's tenty, but not a problem with a jacket on.

Tie is a Navy, Purple, and Silver BB Makers Rep, also from SA.

Pants are Dockers slim fit khakis.

Shoes are Rockport penny loafers, picked up for a song on ebay.

Sorry for the bathroom cellphone shot...
