Spoo that suit looks good on you. The socks are too much for a dark suit. Maybe a touch more shirt cuff: sleeve length. Some edge finish for the shoes, and maybe a polish also! I really like the proportions of the jacket - lapel length/angle, gorge, button stance, quarters, overall length. Pants pressing time? I wouldn't have chosen that tie - maybe something with more blue (floral or paisley?), to go with the suit and the pink - but such observations usually come across as fatuous. Although yesterday's combination http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...ostcount=13413 just didn't gel for me. I think getting combinations right is your weakness.

The pants do need a pressing. Mrs. Spoo was obviously lacking in her pant pressing duties. As per your word, I will flog her with a noodle after a Merlot this evening for penance. This shall not happen again.

I share your affinity for similar suit aesthetic - peak lapels, no trousers cuffs.

For myself the flaps on the pockets present visual weight to the sleek lines, and so I tend to order without flaps double besoms.

I can see besom pockets working yes, however on a pinstripe I like the pockets to give a bit of a visual break.
