I think with the MoP buttons the cream buttonhole works okay.

Given your budget and preference for not-so-hungarian looking lasts, I'd recommend a Vass F oder PII, made up in their three eyelet derby fashion from dark brown boxcalf. For me, there is no better RTW derby (with relatively easy availablility being a matter). Oh, and a two- or three eyelet derby is very much a traditional form (for instance, the ZweilochschnÃ¼rer is one of Materna's signature models). I, personally, like it quite a bit and think of it as the most elegant derby one could possibly buy.

Five pair of flat front trousers in assorted colors. Dark gray, medium gray, navy, tan and chinos. All flat front with 2" cuffs.

Shirts are coming in the next package. Glad these arrived since I'm meeting with Ram later this week and the jacket, while it generally fits great, needs a bit more room at the waist. I'm also going to start him on some heavy linen trousers and maybe a full linen suit (DB jacket, I think).

Nice goods! Any pics of the actual fit?

nice jacket - i actually like the cream buttonhole. hopefully the full lining wont be too much for the Texas heat.
