Yep, they're still around. Wearing a toad on the left and a gator on the right, same mixed combo as in this close-up:

Monday morning in Canterbury. Fancied doing the bow-tie & DB Blazer look (no it's not up to Greg's standards

).

Details:

Blazer (believe it or not it's very dark blue rather than black) : Lanvin
Bow Tie: Liberty (Tana Lawn I think)
Wool Trousers: M&S
Shirt: Savile Row Company (don't bother - not awful, but not even at Charles Tyrwhitt quality)
PS: Turnbull & Asser
Shoes: Joseph Cheaney 'Hockney'

Hi Guys - thanks for the kind words on the jacket. It feels incredibly comfortable. I love suits and jackets that are so comfy you really "want" to wear them.

Gaz - glad to see you wearing the Chameleon EG's! It seems like light gray trousers work well for those.

Vox - good point regarding the Japanese denim. I plan on picking up a pair sometime soon. It's tough trying them on as they are so stiff you have to use your imagination a bit on how they will break in.

I am 15 years old, with a MASSIVE interest in 1960's fashion, and this weekend I had some suede Chelsea Boots with Cuban Heels delivered to my door, So I whipped on a Collarless Beatles style jacket and some Primark (cheap budget clothes shop for all you non brits) girls black and white doogtooth jeans and some (fake) rayban wayfarers and away I went

I don't think the Beatles style included wearing girl's jeans?

Doesn't have to be. Many will certainly be stiff like a 1970's pair of Wranglers but not all are that concrete pants coarse/stiffness. And I doubt you'll be soaking in the tub with them on... do take into account the length, for if the fit is spot on when you buy them, they'll be high-water in a few months when you wash them.

Thanks Cary! So essentially you're saying buy them a bit on the bigger side to allow for shrinkage, correct?

- Sorry DTO - there will be no GTG in HKG & SERIOUSLY COME UP WITH YOUR OWN IDEAS! - CUSS BOMB is just starting. - I remember last year us HKG based SFers got a lot of flack for trying to keep our sources to ourselves. Well this is one of many recent examples why! - One thing to ask advice of which tailor to use etc, but to go in & copy everything! GET THE FUK OUT OF HERE! - DTO please also cease emailing me as I have put your deets in my SPAM redirect folder - I'm not saying that I am 100% original as I also take inspiration from what is around me - JUST SAYING!
