Dressing "styleforum" - don't get you laid?

Seriously, thinking that dressing a certain way will get you laid is like Napoleon Dynamite thinking his sweet nunchuck skills will get him laid.
The basic flaw with this logic is as follows: A does not equal B; A equals A, and B equals B. Knowing how to dress well will not get you laid; knowing how to dress well will help you dress well, and knowing how to get laid will help you get laid. Period.

i have to say that i've known some utter dipshits that aren't really attractive but dress well and it gets them laid. i asked a female friend who had slept with one of them about it once, and she explained "it's silly i know, but we look at the guy and think those boots mean something. if they're not completely tactless it's enough."

Wow. Well then I'm proud to be a tool. And also glad that I went the tool route and tooled myself into a long term relationship that led to my eventual marriage. The toolishness of it!
