Just wondering if anyone knows of other roll-up, hanging options like this (Colonel Littleton):

...or this (Orvis):

The Orvis seems to be out of stock and the Col's are nice, but pricey and I can live without the shiny brass poncery.

There must be others...

I've had all kinds. I like the Col. Littleton type but they dont come with a hook. In other words, you have to hang them on a nail or something (unless the design has changed) and such is rarely (read never) available.

My advice, dont buy anything that doesnt have a hanger built into it and buy something that you can see the contents of.

Thanks insomb and stewartu, hope you both had good holidays!

Good point about the hanger - it's always easier to find a bar or an edge or something to put a hook over than it is to find an actual hook. Having said that I could probably carry an S hook or lobster claw or something similar in the kit.

I hadn't seen the Daines and Hathaway stuff, so thanks for that. They are a couple of inches smaller than the Col. Littleton ones, but if they did the wet pack in their 'rusty blaze' brown leather I'd probably jump at it. Unfortunately the only colour options are the 'bridle tan', which looks a little too shiny and 'orange' for my taste, and the 'explorer brown' which seems to have some kind of artificial grain texture applied to it which I find a bit of a turnoff.

The Red Envelope one looks excellent, but they don't ship outside of the US. Any idea who that manufacturer might be? If I knew that I could try to find an alternative supplier with broader horizons...

On the subject of shipping, I haven't found anywhere that will ship the full leather Littleton kit outside of the US, at least not at USPS rates (those using UPS want over $100 shipping, which makes it a very expensive kit at US$300+!) The canvas version without the detachable/washable liner is sold by Staffords in GA and they are quoting a very reasonable $20 for shipping to Australia by USPS. I may well get that one, but a full leather outer would be nice if I can find it.
