Disappointing. Those blends are neat on the runways and have great textures, but they're a pain to take care of and wash.

A techno theme?

I liked s/s09 a lot as well. Though it was risky in its own way, as they pretty much abandoned most of the work/outdoor/military influence and went for 50s kitsch

A fair bit of the collection was done in the fabric, so I would expect to see it in the near future. You couldn't really even see it in some lights, but in others it would show up a fair bit.
We're the patterned shirts pictured on page 2 in this cotton/metal blend? I am really digging the green/yellow/red plaid

Do you guys think EG will update their website before Christmas? I can't remember what time of the year they put up their SS collections in previous years. I will be visiting Japan in April, I hope it will be in time for the new collection.

That Andover on the picture with the guy wearing shorts, showing a calf tattoo, looks interesting. I wonder what that colour might be. Looks lighter than navy, but hard to tell because of the lighting.

Great, that means during my months in Japan there will be high-time for the new EG stuff and I'll get dibs on all that special stuff that's only available there.

Nope - those plaid BDs are just 19th Century shirts in some nice plaids.

The metallic ones look like chambray kind of from farther away. They had a sort of grey/green color to them. The plaids were nice though, I ordered one for myself...

Wow! Found this on page 4 and thought I'd create a quiet riot. I sneak preview sans picture.
Limited distribution on this one. Drinkwater's, Odin and Bureau will have Red Chambray Work Shirt.
I was also advised that the web site will go live after January 1 and they will start shipping SS 10 around the second week of January. I will post our pictures when their site is up.

Saw this in TresBienShop's twitter, figured this is as good a place as any to put it:

GQ's Stan Parish visits with Daiki Suzuki in his studio

Dude works hard:
I come here very early in the morning, when no one is around. There's a good two hours with maybe one other person here. After 5:00 or 6:00 p.m., everybody leaves, so I get two or three hours that I can be here alone. I actually come here every weekend, too.
