Could I wear these shoes with a light gray suit?

I think they'd look good.

I have a few light grey suits - those shoes would be just fine, in fact, probably your best choice.

Other things that work with light gray:

Suede (especially the lighter variety)

Black also tends to look fine, IMHO.

It could look good, but it will definitely appear casual. Black would be better with light gray if you want to blend in with the business environment.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I rarely wear anything but dark dark grays or navy suits for work, but this is for my outdoor afternoon wedding, so I think a lighter brown would work best.

thanks, everyone.

I agree, especially this time of year. I wear my lighter shoes with gray suits only in spring/summer.

A confident well dressed gentleman could certainly wear the brown shoes with a light (pearl) grey suit. Might want to dress the soles first.

Could also wear other shades of brown in leather or suede (my Personal favorite).
