Why can't I figure out how to fasten this w/ quick, smooth one-handed aplomb?

What's the secret? Maybe this should this be in DT...

Use two hands, so you can show the woman how you like to use great care in filling holes.

It is an extra button should one fall off you have an extra that can be sewed on, it's not men to be fastned.

Really? Then why is there a corresponding hole?

Edit - just figured out why there is a corresponding hole. Duh.

Obviously why there is a corresponding button hole and the button is in the same place on every double breasted jacket.

I usually use two hands. Since I am right handed I use my left hand to fasten the inside button and my right hand to button the outer button.

It's there so your DB jacket drapes properly, and the excess fabric doesn't pull due to gravity.

Honestly, it's just like that spare button you get on the inside of pants to the left, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DRAPE, I swear.

Are you serious? You fasten that button to the corresponding hole to prevent that side of the fabric from drooping down. Every idiot knows that...
