For people who have been wearing their denim -- how much shrink/stretch have you experienced? I would probably give an initial quick soak in cold water, wear around house to form them on me, air dry, and then either spot treat for stains/dry clean or freeze only for odor and general soil. Oi Polloi has sizing charts and says that there's almost no shrinkage -- none in the waist and 3/4 inch in inseam if washed in "40 degree water" (would you really wash jeans in 40˚C? I assume that means 40˚F, i.e. a cold wash). This seems pretty impressive -- very true to size. What have been people's experience who have soaked them? The soak would only be to get some of the excess dye out to minimize color transfer... Also -- stretching, anyone? I hear these jeans retain their size pretty well. Have people who have had them for long (8 months to a year, maybe) experienced any stretching? Thanks!

I've got a pair of the "classic slim leg" (I think that's what they're called) and I can say that after about 7 months near-daily wear and intermittent wear thereafter (I've had 'em a year+), I've only experienced about a half inch to three quarters of an inch stretch. Bare in mind I've never soaked or washed them.

I bought one of the merino crewneck jumpers a while back. The fit definitely lends itself to a more MC or business casual style: semi-fitted body, looser sleeves. It would see more use, and I'd probably have bought more, if the sleeves were tighter. I wear it to work often, though, so it's not a complete loss. The fabric hand is great, and the green colorway is very deep and rich.

Wow, that's impressive. And if you wanted them to shrink back a little, you could theoretically dunk them in water for a few minutes... Of course, that would mean a little bit of the color running and them being un-raw-ified...

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed. And they're so cheap (I got mine with a promo code, so they were only like $110) that you can really knock around in 'em. They aren't the most interesting jeans in terms details, but they're simple, straightforward and well-made.

Just picked up a pair of "Regular Leg 521"s (their new fit regular leg) and i'm a little conflicted.
+ Love the construction and the fit from the knees down. Nice and slim without being skinny.
- but the top block is a little narrow. I bought 31's trying to go true to size (31 in KMW Rockers, 29 in APC NS) and the seat on these jeans is just a little narrow.
Granted, I have a pretty big ass, but I don't remember the Rockers or NS ever being quite so... constricting. I'll keep wearing them around the house to see if they stretch out at all, but they might end up on B&S if it doesn't work out. Great price all considered, but I'll stick to trying to find rockers on sale :\\.

I think it will mean 40 degrees celsius, since that's what they use in the UK
And it's not exactly a hot wash.. body temperature is 37 celsius

Hi guys, my first post here but I've been reading for a while. I was considering geeting a pair of albam jeans as my first raws, but had some questions.
First, is anyone aware of some fit pics anywhere? I was kind of hesitating between their regular leg and slim leg cut.
And secondly, what is the recommended sizing? I've heard they don't stretch much, but should I still size down one from my regular trouser size? Or should I get true to size?

Go TTS, they stretch less than an inch...maybe only a half...over a few months.
The regular leg is fairly relaxed... definitely more so than say APC NS...so if you're looking a more modern look go slim! Rise on these jeans is also fairly high.

Bought their Arran Cable Knit Sweater for only £50 (end of line) and love it so far.
Spent some time in the store and like their designs. As someone else mentioned they keep things pretty simple.
