No worries, it happens. I just e-mailed you again with our previous e-mail convo! Thanks man!

Wow that unwashed lamb looks amazing mmm. I think if I ordered again I would go with the unwashed and hidden belt loop snaps but I am still ridiculously happy with my washed lamb DR.

Hey I was looking to order the Varsity. I emailed you the instant i saw the jacket and now i'm starting to get worried because i want it so bad haha. (You're also the reason i am no longer a lurker and decided to register) I hope it is still available. I'm looking to purchase as soon as possible too.

(Good First Post?)

Met up with impolyte_one again tonight, had a couple drinks and got my DR jacket. I'll get pictures up later, but I'll just say that it came out better than I thought it would overall. Fit is spot on, though obviously slightly uncomfortable since it literally was right out of the "factory" and needs some breaking in.

Detail pictures probably tomorrow along with a fit.

Unless you mean the winter varsity, no it was not a good first post. In fact, it was terrible. You clearly have not read the thread or you would have realized he stopped selling them quite awhile ago.

Steve is right, I'm talking about the Reversible Varsity. Sorry I did not specify. I just assumed that was the only Varsity available since it was on the first page. I hope the clarification was better than the apparently "terrible" first post haha

I like knits, but honestly don't know how viable knits are right now due to manufacturing. That is something to be run up in huge batches in standardized sizing, and frankly I personally require knit quality in the range of Jil Sander or Thom Browne or the ilk for me to wear, and that ain't gonna happen for me right now, or at least til I find the magic factory.

Since then I've considered the viability of maybe a limited edition, 100% handknit sweater, but then there's two things - I have no time right now to develop something like that so it'd have to happen if I become completely free and bored and I don't see that happening soon, and beyond knowing the size/pattern for it, I haven't got the first clue about knitting, so I wouldn't be able to create technical specs for it that I feel would be necessary. I also don't want to entrust the whole thing to some old lady, because if I feel that much disconnect does not lead to things being made the way I want them to; everything thus far has been made from materials I hand select and search (and sometimes it can take forever), and everything has been pattern cut and spec'd out by me, entirely, and I expect this will continue.

I'd like to make shoes too, but therein lies the same problem; and I actually know a little more about shoes and shoemaking tech so I know what I want there, but finding people who share the same enthusiasm as me for properly made, traditional footwear that I want is not very easy....

If you're really serious on the shoes then I wish you luck because that's one thing I looked all over Seoul for and I found jack **** as far as talented guys go.
