javyn - are they not awesome?

are you guys injecting yourself at home with the b-12? where do you get the home injection stuff? i once got a b-12 shot pretty regularly, it was nice. how often do you guys get the shot?

how does the injection compare to those b-complex pills or drink solutions you can get at vitamin places.

My father is a dentist, I have him give me the shots. No comparision between injections and oral/sublingual. If it is not a shot it's not worth bothering about. I also found some Ginseng and Ginko extracts in the medicine drawer....DAMN that stuff tastes terrible!

how what dosage do you get? i haven't had a b-12 injection in over a year now, i'd have to go through my papers (don't even know if i have them anymore, i've moved since then) to see what dosage i got. but i'm thinking about trying it again.

1.5 cc, definately gets me going. But I don't get them as often as I should b/c I generally don't enjoy getting shots.

What does the injection do? Give you more energy? I've been taking B12 tablets, but I don't feel anything...

I don't know...I'm looking to see if there is some sort of consumer type injection thing, where you dont have to be a doctor to get it. The pills are worthless, less than 5% gets absorbed from them. Nothing beats an injection directly into muscle. Btw, I know it sounds bad but it isn't drugs or steroids or anything, it is a water soluble vitamin

This looks promising... http://www.77canadapharmacy.com/Vitamin_B12.php I wonder if those are self contained little deals that you just stick in your arm then throw away.

Almost all herbal extracts do. You're best off just getting it over with. I didn't mention it in the wheatgrass thread, but that is not the same thing as wheatgrass at all. Incidentally, be careful with herbal and especially ginkgo extracts. Some brands are fine, but a number have been found to contain ridiculously high levels of heavy metals. All that ginkgo won't save your ass from progressive lead poisoning.

I have read that methyl B12 can be absorbed sublingually (under the tongue) pretty well. You can get that on iherb.com.

You can also find injectable B12 here.

They are a gray market company though. Check out the other stuff you can buy!

I've never used this stuff myself though.

IBE is a pretty good lab... tamoxifen citrate is the best pct if steroids is your thing. Friends of mine buy there often so I can vouch that its a good site, although sometimes slow on getting you your order... I may actually buy some of that b-12 so good looking out.

edit: Where do you inject it? Into the vein? muscle?

I'm also curious as to what it is supposed to do. Is there a widespread view that this is actually beneficial, or is this more of a "it probably works, but could very well be a placebo" things?
