Hedi Slimane for dior

Yesterday I went to a dior outlet and I noticed they had several pieces by hedi slimane, mainly trousers, coats and knitwear. I was interested in buying it, but I didn't know how old it was or how the quality was. What was the quality like at dior when hedi slimane designed for them and when did he stop designing for them? There was a great raincoat with large squares pf plastic attached to the chest, but it felt kind of cheapy. Also is it normal for dior to make outwear in size 30?

Slimane's dior stuff is more sought after then the Van Ass stuff. Definitely worth picking up.

Check the reference tags e.g. 5EH1015678 E47 B6A8 ',05 refers to the year (2005), EH' refers to the season, that is, EtÃ

(Summer). HH refers to 'Hiver' (Winter).
'101' refers to the item group, in this case, trousers (Pantalon). Other examples: 102 refers to blazers (Veste), 105 to shirts (Chemise) and so forth.

Most dior by hedi stuff commands a nice premium

OK, I will definitely be picking up a rain coat next time. A rain coat or zip up jacket was about $500, is that a good price? They also had the sweaters with distressed seams, are those any good?

I will see if they take returns and if they do next time I go I will buy a few pieces to see if anyone is interested in buying it. How durable are the sweaters with distressed seams? I don't want them to rip after just a few wears.

Hedi left Dior in '07 but they are still trying to clear out Hedi leftovers. The store in Vegas had a bunch of Hedi stuff left when I went there in October. They still make the suits and raw denim that Hedi designed so what you saw might not be that old after all. A lot of the newer stuff has that cheap feel.

I'm curious how you knew it was Hedi and not KVA? Did the salesrep tell you?

Any Dior outwear for ~$500 seems like a pretty good deal. If you don't like it there is a good chance you could flip it here, SuFu or the MSN Dior group and get your money back.
