Really not feeling either of those, and especially not at those price points--there are definitely better finds out there...then again, I have no idea what you look like

What are the better finds? I know nothing about hats. I've worn the Columbia survivor things a few summers and I'm tired of that kind of thing. Looking for something a little classier and versatile. And I'm too lazy to post a pic, but I'm an old white guy. I'm told I kind of look like a thinner Tommy Lee Jones (the actor). http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...myleejones.jpg

Thanks. Yeh, actually I'm liking the looks of some Fedoras now. More my style, I think.

Where are you picking up doma stuff?

To continue the running obvious joke: "Or do i just have to wait to look at the image location of the forthcoming picture?" (had to do it before someone else made it)

But seriously, i like some of the damir doma stuff i've seen although i know it's too much $$ for me, probably even on sale.

I'm considering getting a pair of RM Williams. I've considered it before but now I'm heavily considering it which means that I'll be ordering them as soon as I get paid.

I like the layered shorts; but, a lot of the tops are not so nice in person.

The fact that it's styled like a regular shirt and not a western or work shirt with the two button pockets is what drew me in. I actually want to find a nice source of chambray and have Kent Wang make me a dress shirt or two. Iammatt has some cool chambray shirts from his bespoke shirtmaker in Naples - I'd love to have something like that.

I have a closeup pic on my work computer. I'll try to post it on Monday.

I have two Stetsons - one for winter and one for summer. The Stetson "Open Road," the signature hat of both Harry Truman and LBJ. I bought one on a road trip years ago and wore it during the trip then ended up selling it to a vintage store. I regretted selling it for years then found the felt hat on ebay last year (apparently they're highly sought there). I just got the straw on yesterday for summer.

Yea, the shorts were the only things that stood out to me that i saw on seven, but obviously haven't seen em' in person. Just one of those brands i noticed in the past year that i kinda enjoy, like some of the petrov and ute stuff i've seen. I still really really want that khaki ute ploier trench i saw for f/w08 but there's no point while i live down south of even bothering.
