just casual wear every day for about two years (senior year of high school and freshman year of college). by the time i tossed them the heels were so worn out i couldn't walk quickly (let alone run) without them falling off, and i couldn't walk through wet grass without getting my socks wet because of the gaping hole in the sides. soles, however, were fine.

i probably could have kept wearing them, but they probably made me look like a dirty hippie, haha

I have a pair of black chucks...they've got some decent wear on them because I have been wearing them since january every single day. No hardcore fraying though but I'm working on getting them destroyed.

Pics tomorrow hopefully!

I have a pair of white Made in the USA chucks that are older than I am, but they're pretty pristine. I gave them a machine wash the other day just for the hell of it too. Too lazy to take pics but they're so much nicer than current Cons.

I've also seen relatively cheap Chucks at Marshalls but they don't usually have the more classic colors.
