Melon, I want to see pictures of your eBay vintage longwing phase....

I'm sort of undergoing a similar evolution, currently trying to add some big-ass crepe soles to my old shoes to make them look less MC. :slayer:

IME if you call a big store and get a motivated SA they'll track what you want down for you.

I can't remember if it was in this thread or another, but somebody mentioned a user named Tacobender who is an SA at Barney's. He is supposedly very helpful to work with.

Oh I have an items-koplist too but it's stored somewhere in the back of my mind, I found that approach stiffling after a while, methodical.

Instead of a koplist I have an "outfits I would like to try" list, and use that as a loose kopguide. Still make impulse purchases though.

Yeah I have that too, shapes, colors, some specific details, overall silhouettes, but nothing too specific as far as brands/labels go.

bless hoodcoat!

If I was specifically looking for a hooded coat, I'd probably want something with a more shapely hood than the one you posted, snow. Since I doubt you'll be walking with the hood pulled over your head all the time, you need a hood that looks nice unhooded too :D

Pretty sure it's sold.

I like Devoa hoods also, don't know if they have anything in the long coats department though.

Ive met this new girl/woman, who is really cute and smart yadayda, but doent really cut it style-wise. I´d like to give her some hints, but unsure how to do it without her being offended. Tips?
