I hope I'm not the only one who thinks the interaction between Jesse Thorn and the Street Etiquette guys on the latest Put This On is a bit... awkward.

I imagine meeting anyone from the internet is a bit...awkward.

Jkissi and Travis look freakin great though, the difference between people following the #menswear thing and people actually doing their own thing.

Fuck that dressing like a grownup, that's the stupidest shit I ever see. The dude even looks like a creepier version than Dr. Phil.

that dude is awkward as fuck and tries way too hard. his mannerisms get on my nerves.

also, that T&A shirt was ugly as fuck. why would he bother taking that home?

You can tell the whole situation is really awkward because of he insisting on his "gentlemanly" manners, I'd imagine those dudes were really creeped out over it. That part/ad in the end with that pocketsquare stuff was pure gold though. (10)

FWIW, I thought both sides contributed to the awkwardness. Maybe it was the editing, but the SE guys didn't exactly dole out the thrifting insights like you'd expect from a duo notable for great thrifting sensibilities. In that respect, Thorn actually delivered (i.e. the bit about the crap shoes). Also a lot of responses to Thorn's comments seemed to be in the vein of "I have no idea what to say, but I'd better say something."

Awkwardness aside, I still dig the show's concept.
