If that's the place across from the Ruth's Chris then i think it's been a variety of things. When i lived in the area in the early 90s, it had been newly renovated and housed some shops like a cleaners and blockbuster video store, or some other chain. Didn't last too long, and I moved out of the district. Don't know it's subsquent history. Reminds me, and i'm dating myself now, that the house is a couple of doors down from what was a great newspaper/magazine store that carried international pubications on the corner of Conn & S.

I seriously hope they don't hang out at Russia House.

Did you know that you and Joe have the exact same number of post? And I met you both.

I can't wait to see two or three of the roommates standing outside of Ben's Chilli Bowl having a conversation while trying to ignore the boom mic.

I can see all of these except Citron -- it's too small. I would add Lucky Bar, The Big Hunt, Local 16, K Street Lounge, Grand Central, The Reef, Five, Andalu, Eighteenth Street Lounge, and Rumors. Owners willing, of course.

^^ Wow, The 18th Street Lounge. That would be interesting, but I know at least 3 of the roommates wouldn't be up to dressing to the standards it takes to get into that place.

Am I right in assuming that any place they go will be considered less cool?

Great, now I have to avoid my favorite Intern Hunting Grounds during the height of the season...

Invicta you beat me to it!

Slopho you are very correct. It will take at least another season of RW to get the nasty off of those places.

I nominate Current (which I think it always 1/3 or 1/2 full) as the RW go to spot. A lot of the bars mentioned don't really need (I hope) the publicity RW generates.

My co-worker just told me that he knows someone who works for Obama and the Administration is saying that if any of the interns/young people from the Admin get caught on the show or in some way identify themselves on the air, they're fired.

most people think they should hang in midtown, ie fly, current etc. but for some reason halo is so far the only purportedly confirmed hangout spot.
