I will admit, almost any show can grab my attention if I gave it the time of day. I rarely do unless it is on HBO or Mad Men.

I look forward to re-watching Deadwood in a few years. I missed much of the dialog early on in the first season because I had a tough time understanding the dialect and accents, and due to this, I had trouble piecing all of the plot lines together in real time.

Funny. Some of the cast was having dinner at the table next to us tonight. Some very pretty ladies I must say... (especially Emmanuelle Chriqui

Did Ari change his suits? They looked different in this first episode.

Just saw it. Pretty good. That Maserati....

Overall, I give it a 8/10. It seemed to lack some of the sarcastic humor from earlier seasons. Ari was not nearly as snarky and hilarious.

2/10.

Ari is the only redeeming quality of this show. And he is getting old.

Even if Emmanuelle Chriqui was naked in every episode for the full half hour it wouldn't rate past a four.

This show needs to end after this season.

Emmanuelle Chriqui automatically bumps it up to 6 for me. She's one hot sexy mama.

she wasn't in this episode anyways, but I agree this show is pretty ridiculous now. it's like fratboy aspirational lifestyle Appreciation. it's watchable, but completely empty and forgettable.

No one said it was "Bleak House". Half an hour of lifestyle Appreciation a week seems fine by me. It beats watching "Are you smarter than a 5th grader".

You say that as if it was a bad thing...

I watch it for Ari (and Lloyd) - they just make me laugh. The whole "message" or aspirational qualities have no importance to me whatsoever.

Never really watched it all that seriously, but I just realized that Jeremy Piven was in Say Anything.

Can't get enough of it.

"What are you, the Godfather?"
"It's a message!"

Assuming you have to watch one or the other, I'll take Entourage every time. I didn't think it came down to that.

I still watch it, I just think it's getting steadily worse. It's phony and a little boring and it feels like everyone is mailing it in, from the writers to the actors to the celebrity cameos.
