Does anyone know of any other lasts, from other makers, that might fit similarly to the Modified? I find the last quite comfortable, but wasn't digging the styling options too much.

I arrived at the modified last strictly for fit .The truballance and the barrie work but are big in the heel. The modified in an e is perfect for my foot so i bought them and in all truth i have received nothing but complements from people about them . A lovely lady friend even said how cool the toe looked and if she hates something im wearing she tells me to a fault .If anyone is considering the modified I will give my best description on the fit .My foot flares or widens at the little toe joint and the big toe joint is often cramped in many styles as well .I can wear a truballance in a d but it requires some break in .Barrie e works but i dont own any .Im trying to avoid the big heel and tongue pads .Thats it ;im digging on the modified e

as promised the alden anatomica captoe boot. lovely details with the heel counter and double row of stitching. also features a half bellows tongue. might be the most comfortable boot ive tried on. the boot is unlined (except for captoe) and has an oiled flex outsole. unfortunately a little small. I sized down 1/2 from my actual size. would be best for barrie

If you email the folks at Anatomica with your size, they will gladly send you their stock. Visited the store this past summer - great group of guys.
