I've seen some awesome Red Loops before. I really like that line.

Can someone explain where does Levi's Red fall into? I always thought it was short for Redtabs.

A few years ago Red was sort of an "avant-garde" branch of Levi's with some aggressive styling and detailing.

Recently Red was re-launched (in the US, at least) as a diffusion line, I think between the basic line and the Premium line. To add to the confusion, there is now also Big E, another diffusion line which I believe is between Premium and LVC, but I could be wrong about the exact hierarchy.

Neither of them is the same as Red Loops, which are in a different market.

I thought I'd post a couple of pics of my ES Fultons. I guess I got this pair about 8 months ago, and have been my favorite jeans ever since. It is a dry denim, and these have not been washed.

I'm pretty sure it's like this in the USA:

Basic, Silver Tab, Red, Capital E, LVC

IIRC, Capital E replaces the Premium line. Or it was renamed to Capital E, coz I've heard of people getting Capital-E Skinners, etc.

from what I have seen and read about the past few months, the Premium line has been dropped and replaced with Capital E.

Rag & Bone RB6b, hey are a one wash as far as I know. Bought back in January, no signifigant wear. These jeans are so thin that I'm not expecting anything drastic, should turn out great though.

I checked at the SF Levis store, they told me that Premium has been renamed Capital E, so Brian, sonick and Flame are all correct.

And thanks Hawkeye for reminding us about the Walmart Signature line!

They're looking pretty good right now, and they'll wear better than you think. Oddly enough, I've found that my RBs are showing wear a lot faster than my RRLs, despite:
  1. having had them for far less time
  2. wearing them a lot less often
  3. not wearing them nearly as intensely
Only thing I hadn't anticipated was how the trouser pockets on mine affect the wear patterns.
