I will be there for six nights. Mostly in Brussels. 1 night in Antwerp. 1 in Amsterdam

So looking for recommendations of stuff to do, places to try, etc.

Will do some shopping in Antwerp. Dries, MMM, Ann Dem, Branquinho etc. Any other recs?

Any must eat places in either of the three cities? Good cafes?
Interested in having really good chocolate, moules frites, pommes frites, desert items etc.

Also for Amsterdamn, I am looking forward to getting high, eating space cake, and getting a hooker from the red light district...any recs in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

As for sight seeing...what is a must see? Will probably be renting bikes for the trip in each city to get around...

House of Bols and the Van Gogh musuem are musts in Amsterdam. 10 euros gets you a tour and a mixed drink of your choice in Bols and I recommend being a little high for Van Gogh.

Brussels was absolutely worthless to me. You can see the city in a day. Its good if you like big stautes of atoms, cartoons or famous statues of little boys pissing. Go to Bruges if you want to see something cool. OR...just stay in amsterdam.

+1.

antwerp - be sure to check out the Dries flagship store in addition to Veronique Branquinho and other boutiques in Nationalestraat and be sure to stroll around the Historic Centre as well. Eat lots of chocolate, drink copious amounts of beer (so good and strong) and don't forget about mosselen-friet/moules frites (mussels and fries). You really don't need more than two days to take in Antwerp since the city is quite small.

a-dam - coffeshops, Van Gogh museum, canal rides, stroop waffles, cheese, red light district, flower market, and more coffeeshops. fries with mayo are a must and there's a great place right next to the Dampkring coffeeshop along with the shopping in Harlemstraat. And definitely check out Vondel park and the casino next door and rent a bike while your at it.

What do you like to do? I spent 6 nights in Brussels last fall, but if you're in college I'll take a wild stab that you're not into what I'm into. We spent a lot of time walking around looking at art nouveau architecture (there's a great 3 hour bus trip through a local historic preservation group). And we spent a lot of time in museums.
