I want a high quality horn long shoe horn. I know John Lobb makes them. Anything else of similar quality out there? I know there are cheaper ones that are "cow" horn or something like that. Thanks.

How do the horn items from England, France differ from say, Indonesia?

When I was in London, I bought a good shoe horn from Tayoor's of Old Bond Street. They have several models to choose from.

Honest, it's a Manolo Blahnik stainless steel shoe-horn. A friend of mine got it for his birthday the other day. Here's an ivory one, also posted elsewhere:
