    They’re well made. I live 10 minutes from their factory. I’d say the build quality is not their primary virtue. They don’t disclose tanneries, but their leather feels luxurious and exclusive, they are Blake constructed as far as I know.

    They’re probably sturdier than grant stone, more tank-like, I wouldn’t say there’s much difference in the build, it’s more the style, so the break is similar in my opinion, it depends on the leather rather than the brand (suede and kudu easier in my opinion)

    The price is good, but the fit is really slim and low waisted, I don’t think its a matter of sizing up, its just that they’re impossible to wear, at least for me, even sizing up. Very uncomfortable

    You get used to it I suppose… I’m not sure it goes away. The hiro has a very narrow toe box I’m my opinion, had to give them away. The hok rod is ok, a bit snug but not uncomfortable.

    It happens to me too in the ones I have, like the toe box is a bit more snug and sometimes I feel some pressure on top and on the sides. It doesn’t happen to me in other brands so I suppose it’s their lasting.

    My stows are a bit roomier than hok/rod, but I don’t feel that much difference, I can wear both the same size but the hok I have feels a bit more snug
