Made in China is Made in China, I'd rather buy made in Portugal or Poland than in China.

Interesting that you say that, I got a pair of High Rise Cotton trousers from SM recently and while I haven't worn them yet they seem to drape really nicely (they are heavier than the hopsack) and it looks like they will maintain the crease.

I live in a subtropical region with high humidity, I hoped a couple of hopsack trousers would work out for my situation, I was wrong lol. One of many more lessons I'm sure I'll be learning. Besides High Twist, what other fabric I could wear in hot and humid climate? I'm not sure if linen...

I'm learning this the hard way, wore a pair of hopsack trousers for the first time yesterday and the drape is horrendous, the crease is practically nonexistent from the knee down. As someone that's new to classical menswear, what type of fabric maintains a nice crease/ pleat on trousers?

Knit Polos - Brands and Recommendations

John Smedley is amazing, recently discovered the brand when I purchased a polo and a tee in my last trip to Japan and fell in love with the fit and quality of the Sea Island Cotton, so much so that I went ahead and purchased 5 more polos when I returned back home. I have a hard time picturing...

That's the problem with us short guys. I'm 5'6" and have the same issue with RTW jackets. I think for guys like us it's not only better, but probably necessary to go the MTM or bespoke route.
