    I wouldn't say that I'm not worried about the cause... if you have any ideas on the cause, do share! It might just help avoid the same issue for me down the line - or it might even help someone else!

    I generally use Woodlore/Hanger Project shoe trees but for these shoes I used Carmina’s own shoe trees - I believe they originally came with a shoe with the Rain last.

    Which MTO was this? I find this a bit odd because I took my Rain size on the S last (Scott model) and I find the S last fit to be pretty much spot on, I'm certain that if I sized down the fit would be too tight.

    Have you seen the T last in person or are you basing it off of the pics you’ve seen? I dont have the loafers you posted but my Gessi doesn’t strike me as having a perticularly bulbous toe. Looking at the pics you posted, I think the lighting of the photos accentutes the toe.
