A product called renovateur cleans this rather well. It's expensive but works very well. I'd remove laces and go to town on them. If you cant find the product locally, a saddle soap or other leather cleaner will likely do the trick. But be careful as you just dont know how it will interact...- ThePetros

I think that's what appeals so much about the chromexcel leather. Structurally better than something like this. I would think that the leather is likely too dry as it is, and therefore prone to absorbing any moisture along with any dirt etc. I’m no leather expert, so if anyone wants to chime here - by all means do so.
