Dumb question: it would be preposterous to wear a cutaway collar w/o a tie, right?
I wore a keaton without a tie the other day, I don't think it looked bad I acutally like it. It wasn't a contrast collar for the record.- dzang

United Colors of Benetton shirts are extremely slim and Sisley are even slimmer. At the outlets you can get these dress shirts for around $25 - $35. The shirts seem to be a step up from H&M, mine are holding up nicely.- dzang

PSA: Talbott 7-fold, other ties at SF Nordstrom Rack
Not the greatest deal out there, but the SF and Colma Nordstrom Racks have a pretty decent selection of ties at 35% off...including quite a few Talbott 7-folds (orig 99) in actually wearable prints, as well as some decent Zegnas (orig 65) and Canalis (orig 55). The tables haven't been picked...- dzang

Top quality shirts that are slimmer in the waist without being slimfit.
I know they arent the best quality, but I have a nordstrom tailored fit shirt that is exactly what you are looking for. I got it at nordstom rack for about $30 so you might want to check them out.- dzang

Are these sleeves too short?
sleeves look fine to me, like others said the shirt sleeve length needs to be longer. I also think the shoulders look too big.- dzang
