Seems like he saw that you knew your stuff when it came to shirts and that you also were quite particular with what you were after and he probably wasn't confident that his product would be up to your standard. My shirt arrived today. Been waiting a while. What I've concluded is that just like everything, you get what you pay for. The shirts is nothing special. Average fabric, tailoring not amazing. But it was $45 so i'm happy.- dantheman

Closing French Cuffs Barrel Cuff Style
Frech Cuffs are traditionally not meant to worn like that. But, just like wearing a baseball cap backwards (not what it was designed for), people interpret clothing as they wish. I have only ever seen one person wear their cuffs in that way, and to be honest, it looked silly.- dantheman
