I have a severe lack of shorts in my wardrobe and with the weather warming up I could do with some. I've never really known where to go for shorts though so I was wondering where people typically get theirs from and what kind of styles can be used within the classic menswear aesthetic?

Rubinacci makes excellent RTW linen shorts that are great to wear and well constructed. I have seen that Huntsman has a line of shorts that I’m also considering.

Linen shorts from Paul Stuart and RLPL are summer staples along with Japanese stuff from No Man Walks Alone.

I have J Crew 5 inch chino shorts. Works great if you have the thighs to pull it off.

Linen looks great til you put it on and move or sit. Then the wrinkles develop in droves. :)
It’s fine, though. Everyone expects linen to wrinkle. It’s summer!

I just picked up “Cormac” double pleated shorts from Polo RL and really like them. I also have canvas lounge shorts from Imogene and Willie, and linen shorts from Alex Crane.
