Ivory Dinner Jacket Queries: What pants, what facing, etc

So I am contemplating getting an ivory dinner jacket made up.

I have several questions.

1) Is it traditional to have this only in a shawl lapel, or are peak lapels acceptable too?
2) Should it be satin/grosgrain faced or self faced?
3) What pants should one wear with it? Plain black? Black tuxedo pants with a side stripe?

It would be very helpful if someone more well-versed in the traditions could help illuminate things.

Shirt - White, 100% cotton, lay down = classic Brooks Brothers collar, see B.B. online for reference. Over the past few years my shirt (light starch) has acquired a subtle patina that works perfectly with my Ivory silk shawl collar DJ, Black tie ,to be tied, NOT the Bob Goulet model, and the button strip. Spring for some quality subtle cuff links, I wear Dunhill DarkCharcoal Grey and then go for a Charcoal or Blood Red Wine pocket square, minimal exposure of the square, hint of it
