+1

Ambrosi Senior's jacket is very typical Neapolitan style that you see all over the streets of Naples.

It looks like it has a rope shoulder. I guess that's a variant. This photos of Vittorio de Sica from the '50s show what I thought was the definitive Neapolitan style. Note the natural shoulders. http://www.thelondonlounge.net/forum...=9188&start=30

This type of shoulders is named as spalla insellata, which is a typical type of shoulder that is used for the suits. Spalla camicia is a more casual type used for casual suits and sportcoats. At least, that is what I am aware of.

Salvatore, I hear that you are supposed to be in Tokyo this month. Has the date been confirmed yet?

That's a roped shoulder. No more, no less. Con rollino.

Salvatore- Any idea when your friend Solito will return to NYC with the jacket I ordered (in your hotel room) and paid him a deposit on 18 months ago?

wow. I'm really sad about this. I think you may need to travel to Naples to have a decent shot at getting it. I don't think he is coming back to the States anytime soon.
