My shoemaker called the color "rust". I find that pretty accurate. It's a very reddish fox-like brown. Awesome nap, too. And yes, they're bespoke (second pair from that maker).

Absolutely. Personally I waterproof both suedes and leathers with Collonil products but if you have something else then use that.
