It said in the article that they regretted not showing a scene with Gekko behind bars. If I remember correctly, Gekko never got in trouble.

gekko did get in trouble, thats how bud dodged most of the heat. At the end of the movie Bud wears a wire and tapes the part where Gekko confronts him and smacks him around.

I forget the exact reason why, but it had something to do with insider trader, that whole part was a little 'Hollywood'.

Gekko's '**** you' personality was fun to watch.

Susan Sarandon counts for something. I wish they'd bring back Terry Stamp's character, he was cool.

Do you guise think Flusser and Kabbaz will do wardrobe again?

Me neither. Why do people like it so much? Is there a lot of sex or explosions or something? Sharon Stone's snatch or... some other snatch? Is there much snatch?

Looking for Fidel and Persona Non Grata were both good as well, though admittedly they were documentaries and not fiction.

I'm worried that this film will be a disaster, especially given some of the cast.

On the other hand, it's been so long since the first one that even if this new instalment were to be terrible, it wouldn't reflect poorly on the original (similarly to Terminator 3 and beyond).

I watched the first today at work on netflix, I think Gekko had some of the best monologues I've heard. I got excited when I heard about the sequel (ever since I heard about it in 07) but No Bud Fox is making me temper my expectations.

The new Wall Street is gonna suck simply because they didin't cast Arthur kade. What a missed opportunity!
