Amazing.

There is another guy on this board who also made a few pairs of his own shoes. Maybe you two should team up to compete with G&G!

I just can't believe that it is the 1st pair! Especially the OP said it is self learned.

If you are interested in seeing all the process you can have a look on my blog, on the link below. It is in French but there is a translation tool.

Sorry about my poor English, if you have any question i will do my best to answer.
I am not a professional shoemaker (i have nothing to sell), i am just an amateur who want to share his passion.

You have my immense admiration and respect. Well done, sir.

Wow. I'm amazed and in awe. Well done.

Do they fit as nicely as they look?

Those are amazing. Hard to believe they are your first attempt. The heel and the sole look so clean and sharp. Very well done.

Wow. I like the color of the reverse side of the belt and inside the wallet. It certainly looks like you've had a lot of practice.

Was the leather you used hard to source?

Thank you, but that was my first experience too. The inside of the bag has the same color

Not so much i found through a French web site, i had a lot of phone call exchange with the company and the send me few samples to be sure. It is the same leather i used for the shoes. But for the next shoes i will get something much better, i have found who provide John Lobb...
