One is lost. I'm guessing the remaining link is garbage, but maybe some one is more creative than I am.

Wear with other single cufflink. This looks best if the two are nowhere close to matching. Can you pull it off?

use as ear piercing? but maybe the single earring might just be gheyer than wearing a shirt with only one cufflink

If the links can be thematically related, I often prefer to mismatch than match. Like so:

I agree -- Nothing wrong with mismatched but thematically related links. The more I think about this, I may do it myself even when I have two of each.
