I hate the feeling of thick cream when I put it on so I usually water down my cream when I put it on, yet, I still have dry skin. Its not terrible, but I want to get rid of it.

I know water drys out skin. Could the water I add to my cream be drying out my skin?

I doubt it, your lotion just might not be for you. Try out different products and perhaps get checked out by a dermatologist.

Why not just put it on thick, then wipe your hands off with a towel?

Try adding moisture from the inside- drink more water.
