Hi all. Im getting married on september in Brazil. The place will be on the beach ( but not on sand) . I will wear an beige linen suit ( no tie) and white shirt. What do you guys think about belgian shoes for this occasion ? Suede or leather ? Im think about belgian loafer or tassel ones.
I'd like to know from you , what is the most beautiful/ quality belgian loafer? I see the Velascas ,
ALLAN BAUDOIN and
Belgianshoes.com. Is there any other better in quality and beauty ? I see the Velascas got a little thick sole. Not sure if it is too brute for my as I got a "large"shoes ( 12 USA). I like when my feet look smaller and thinner lol.

Anyway, what you guys think about that. Belgian or tassel like Felix Flair or Meermin? Leather or suede to match with linen suit? Dark or medium brown?

Thank you all.

for a linen suit suede or nubuck might be best.
belgians would be nice for a casual beach wedding but not very versatile as outside shoes in general; you'll be able to wear tassel loafers on more occasions afterwards imo.

Thanks! I've read some people saying suede is more for winter and leather should be more appropriate . Now im confused.

These are the ones I saw and liked:

Meermin ( not sure about medium or dark brown)

Anyway, not sure yet about suede or leather and also the color. Don't you guys think the suede + beach ( sand) would be confuse ? As said , im not going to walk on sand but it will be on the beach..resort.. sun...

Thanks

without knowing the color of your linen suit it's generally hard to guess....

for a cream linen suit perhaps a tan calf loafer of some kind would work nicely https://www.meermin.es/articulo.php?idArt=4614 (like this one - everyone makes a version)
for a navy linen suit, black or oxblood calf loafer would be good.

the choice between belgians/tassels/loafers is one only you can make - either might be appropriate for a beach wedding but loafers can be work-appropriate as well (not belgians, unless you work in a very casual environment)

My teen-age daughter wears the Belgian Shoes branded ones and has worn the same pair for at least four years. It has been re-soled several times, but has held up very well. That says nothing to you about the choice of style, but I am impressed with the quality.

Thanks.

The suit color will be like that.
