It seems like it could be good, but still nothing that we would like.

Is there a list of brands that they commonly sell? I wouldn't bother over jeans from Diesel or Seven.

Edit: From the blogosphere - "Diesel, Genetic Denim, Monarchy, 575 Denim, Blue Cult, Hudson, Joe's Jeans, Chip & Pepper, Antik Denim, Earnest Sewn, Sacred Blue, Taverniti, J & Company, etc..." ::Yawn::

i got a pair of earnest sewn fulton. not sure but it seems dry. not really raw, but similar to the levis 514, raw in terms of feel. fits great, only cost me $80. it's half selvage.

EDIT: Earnest Sewn Fulton No. 50 Line Dry ($190 retail)

Sounds cool. Two questions:

1. how much of a discount are we talking about if these are supposed to be priced below wholesale? 40%? 50%?

2. Are these last year's leftovers? Or, are they current '07 upcoming stock?

1. They were at least 40%.

2. They were a variety of things, it was a sample sale. Meaning it could be last seasons fashion, a few flaws, production samples, overproduced styles, cancelled orders, etc.

I did a search and it seems that many people who attended were:

a) very disappointed by the lackluster selection.

b) very surprised by the high prices. There were numerous comments that the prices were far above wholesale.

I'm thinking you'd be better off looking for sales at retail stores or going to outlet stores for the brands listed.

I saw an ad for this in the paper today. They'll be in Columbus this week and Chicago soon.

Most of the brands advertised in the paper were really tchotchy ones like R&R and TR, but I spotted WESC and Evisu and I've known some forumites to wear that.

I went to one of these and it was very underwhelming. The selection was no better than what you'd find at Nordstrom Rack.

I have been to this twice around when they first started doing this. The prices are high and the selection kind of sucks. It also became busier the 2nd time I went where you had to wait for more than 20min to get in. Not worth it to even pay parking to go to this.
