Reviving an old thread, but does anyone know what product would change the stiching colour on Tods? Would you hit it with a shoe polish to match the leather? The slight contrast stitch on a pair of Tods is killing them for me.

Depends if it’s suede or leather. If leather pretty straight forward with a similar shoe polish as you say. I’d suggest saphir. Much more tricky if they’re suede as it any dye can bleed into it. I might be tempted to try and use a high line pen and carefully go over stitch by stitch. But it’s risky so don’t blame me if it goes wrong.

It is the suede. I picked up a pair of the hiking boots for a bargain price, but the slight contrast stitch kills me. I’ll try the marker idea, thank you.
