Does anyone have experience with The Scotch House brand sweaters and cardigans? Is the quality on par with the likes of Alan Paine?

I did a search but didn’t find anything.

Thanks.

I have a few V-Necks purchased at Scotch House in Carmel CA. They were
lambswool and held up fine. I haven't worn them in years as my size increased
when I stopped running.

The Scotch House brand was topnotch! It was famous for it's tartan scarves, kilts etc plus many of the best Scottish companies/mills like Pringle, Glenmac, McGeorge, Johnstons etc used to produce for it. Unfortunately it closed it's doors more than 20 years ago. I have a vintage lambswool sweater and 2 tartan scarves and the quality is fantastic. I would say that the overall quality was on par, maybe slightly better than (vintage, when they used to produce still in England) Alan Paine and no comparison to current Alan Paine (made in Madagascar, China etc).
