I want to get some for the summer, just easy to slip on without shoes and hopefully will be comfortable. I'm not sure which material to get though.

Which is more comfortable? Both in terms of getting broken in and in terms of temperature.

Which is more durable?

Which is more useful for actually going on a boat (or at least near water, say to the beach)? So, while I assume neither are meant to be waterproof, which dries faster, and so on...

Which look better? I'm thinking of either just some classic tan with white sole leather ones. Or gray or white (perhaps off-white/tan) canvas. I know this is just an opinion though... but still want a consensus.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Leather hands down, definitely the more classic option and i'm sure would look even better when broken in!

And you know this... how? No, I myself do not own a boat. But I could very likely go sailing with a friend of mine (his parents own a boat). Either way, mentioned going to the beach, and in general wanted to know which material handled (salt) water best.

It seems leather is the way to go, even if it might be a bit warmer on my feet.

Thanks everyone.

I believe those ones are made of nylon.

The normal leather ones are extremely comfortable. Can't go wrong.
