1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Lol, I know how that feels... I felt the same way about the Kudu Thorpe but still managed to push me. BTW, are your shannons arriving soon? Mine are in transit!

I am debating a carmina vs eg dub monk. Not sure if I am a dub monk guy so kinda leaning towards the carmina but I have 0 experience with them.

    Thanks to all

I personally think the EG Westminster is the best looking DM out there.

EG Westminster in DOak is one beautiful and elegant shoe. I have it in 888, and I catch myself staring at it sometimes.. It gets lots of compliments.

Big price difference tho. Carmina's are great shoes as well.

For me it came down to fit and style

I agree, it's definitely a Graal shoe for a lot of people.

I'm contemplating to organise a pre-order for a Carmina Double Monk in Burgund Museum Calf, on Rain. Any takers?

    Patrick,

Any more thoughts on a Carmina U-wing oxford in polo suede? Any other incoming models of the U-wing oxford? I've determined that has to be my next oxford!

    Thanks!

Shoes or update? Don't mean to sound impatient but I am, but seriously thinking of ordering something else in this color.

I think that is becoming a problem for a lot of us right now. I just got two in recently and have a few more on the way. I hope that they come out in different time periods so the final payments can be spread out a bit.

I think most may hope this is the case, but reality is that this is a crap shoot. Reality is some come early and some are finished later. The good thing is when they come later as more will, then if you do it right and plan for early then there shouldn't be a problem.

I think that this thread could be a good place to show the competitions between Moose and the rest of us since Leaves is involved in the competition and Skoak caries many of the involved brands or can at least order the same styles as MTO

I really wish I had not seen those. So tempting to order more Dovers. I must resist and be strong...

    Congratulations on your pickup.
