For those considering Wells in Kudu, here is a bespoke version in black kudu which sparked my interest in the other Kudu colors

I would be in for a GMTO of something like this exactly. Black kudu 5-eyelet PTB on a round toe last like GG07. But it seems like most are going in a brown boot direction.

It's fantastic. I do wish the sides and toe were slightly softer, a la MH71 or even EG 890. But it's a gorgeous shape.

I'm thinking of trying out a 946 in 7G, rather than the typical 7.5 I get; I'm pretty sure that might be the ideal fit for me, as the side walls are a bit snug right now on the 7.5s I have.

Such a great last, thought. You're right. And I love EB swatches!

What buffalo leather? Sadly G&G does not have any?

i was referring to these 2 rugged textured leathers in general. i dont know if G&G does shrunken buffalo but the kudu like stevents and patriks pair is special in its own right. would look great as a thorpe boot

Your sexy VOAK Thorpe is proof that the storm welt doesn't make it overly casual; likely due to the sleekness of the last. I think the two balance each other well and thus make the boot wearable for most occasions.

Anyone take a smaller size for their G&G mh71 lasted boots? Or find them to be even slightly loose compared to shoe in same size?

Thinking of experimenting with one size down up a width for next Thorpe
