Anyone have real life photos of this shoe?
I've nearly pulled the trigger on those a bunch of times.
Do you have a picture? I'm curious to see how close they can come.
Looks good. I was afraid the apron would look stubby from top down view.
The toe stitch to apron ration is almost Saint Crispins-y.
Ok, gents. Saw this boot on IG which I believe was an MTO for @Leaves
Anyone up for this exact model?
I don't like that huge, excessive welt and protruding sole (very visible here in these instagram pics), even more so with Norvegese, that Bonafé often use in combination as kind of their trademark sadly. These in my perception give the shoes a quite clunky aesthetic quality, at least in giant sizes like mine
That's IMHO much better in e.g. many Carminas like the Tansjo boot europrep posted below, with sleek and sharp lines etc. But to each his own, of course.
I almost did too, however since I had already joined the Dover in Mahogany CC MTO figured it would be a bit redundant. It's still a great looking shoe.
My Dover order is what stopped me as well.
@sacafotos I think I am done with boot orders until next fall, unless a blue boot option comes together.
What do you have planned for 2015?
Not that model I am still trying to get my llama chukka going.
I will definitely do a blue bal boot (or perhaps a blue Galway), something in a tobacco or medium brown suede, and perhaps this very burgundy derby boot that is being floated. Yes, I have issues....
our Boanfe chukka doesn't really count as a boot, right?
True - I tend to think of Chukkas as tall shoes. ;-)
I do like that model, but I'm tapped out for footwear in the foreseeable future (just pulled the trigger on the Bonafe wingtip derby), so I won't be able to do it.
These all sound great. Looking forward to seeing them!
